I tell stories across various forms of media including oral performance, written fiction, non-fiction academic and essay work, and poetry. My writing, as all else, centres ancestrality, the Earth and Africa to imagine how we can heal the past and create thriving presents and futures in holistic community.
I have appeared on stage at the Reimagined Storytelling Festival (2018) and the Great African Caravan Showcase (2019). My fiction has appeared in a collected anthology of reimagined folktales from Africa, ‘Story, Story’; my non-fiction essays have appeared in The Elephant, Transition Network, Polisblog, Brainstorm and This Big City.
I am available for writing commissions that explore and broaden the themes of regenerative afrikan presents and futures.
