shift, reclaim, heal

Afrikan peoples around the world have used movement and sound (as one inseparable being) as a healing philosophy and practice that allows one to be in their body, and reconnects one to themselves, to community, and to other embodied and unembodied spirits. Evening times, around a fire, inspite of the harshest of circumstances, we have gathered to be ourselves, and make life sing.

My RoundFire dance healing workshops draw on these traditions and incorporate meditations, sharing and improvisation to work with and shift trauma and burnout. Especially recommended for activists.

With your group I can design tailor-made series that build over a period of time. Contact for more info.
